Matthew Macaulay


The Mission Red Bank Role: Worship Leader / Songwriter / Creator of The Union

Matthew Macaulay was born in Manchester in the north of England, grew up on the outskirts of London, went to college in Sydney, Australia and is now based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, serving as the Director of Worship and Creative Development for the Chattanooga House of Prayer, and leading worship at The Mission. 

Matthew loves to write songs, lead worship and make music. He recently recorded 'Let Love be the Anchor' with his beautiful wife, Micah Joy Macaulayand they started The Union with the hope of building a family of like minded creatives in Chattanooga to bring hope and freedom to the world. One of Matthews greatest joys is that he gets to be dad to the amazing Eliana (age 9)!  

Matthew is a Manchester United fanatic, loves to cook and eat great food, enjoys fishing and a game of golf.
